Tea bags for green tea

The desire for convenience led to the invention of tea bags, small paper pouches with green tea leaves inside. They were invented for making tea in easy way. Some are designed for making iced green tea. Use of a tea bag does not require you to use a pot, and thus allows you to get away from a work of cleaning a pot after brewing. Because of its conveniences, it was started to be used at hotels for the guests, and then it also started to be used at homes. The history of tea bag is quite old. In England, the first tea bag got a patent right in 1896, which was one tea spoon tea wrapped in gauze and tied 4 corners with strings. The first machine to make single type tea bags was invented around 1945, and the one to make so called double type tea bags are invented in 1953. The machine was introduced in Japan in 1961, and the production has started mainly for black tea. And then, the full production of tea bags for green tea has started from 1968. Tea bags traditionally contained low grade crushed leaves, since process of packing and tea bags itself cost extra money. However, for inventing the better quality tea bags products, now some company use high grade tea leaves after cutting them in tiny pieces. Variety type of tea bags are on the market now, and new designed tea bags are continuing to be appeared on the market for the better choices.
