Health tea

People seem to care more about their health when their life gets more stable. Not long ago, health tea suddenly became very popular in Japan. Now, they may not as popular as before, but still we see them selling at the grocery stores and the drug stores. Dokudami cha, Hatomugi cha, Gennoshouko cha, Tochu cha, Kakinoha cha are the typical Japanese hearbal teas. And now, Ukon cha and Egusurinoki cha are also becoming popular. Dokudami has long been one of the best selling health teas in Japan. Fresh dokudami has a strong antibacterial effect, and is also effective with spots or rashes. Some people do not like the smell of dokudami which has the antibacterial effect in it. However, dried dokudami leaves do not have that strong smell, and its easy to drink after brewing them like a tea. Drinking dokudami tea daily also helps adjust the blood pressure. Moreover, if you mix dokudami with hatomugi cha( the ratio of dokudami cha and hatomugi cha, 2 to 1) and drink it daily. It can help cleanse your body, and also prevents from hypertension. Hatomugi cha helps to keep your skin healthy. Gennoshouko can stop diarrhea, and is effective for intestinal disorders. The famous scholar of herbs in Edo era "Enoken Kaibara" wrote in his book "Yamato Honzou" that gennoshouko is an effective treatment for intestinal disorders. He also added in his book that there was no mention of gennoshoko in Chinese medicine books. Apperantly, it seems like the effects of gennoshoko were first found in Japan. You can also blend gennoshoko and dokudami, and drink it daily. It is effective for people with high blood pressure or intestinal disorders. Above discussed dukudami cha, gennoshoko cha, and hatomugi cha are not very expensive, and easy to drink. So, I can highly recommend you try them. Kakinoha cha or Tochu cha are effective for the people suffer from high blood pressure. Those health tea are sold individually or blended with other tea. However, the most important thing for getting effective result is to drink them daily.
