Deodorizer

During the process of making tea, sub-product tea is also produced. This tea can not be sold as tea for drinking but can be used as deodorizer. Tea was traditionally used as deodorizer by placing them in the cupboard or toilet. Effectiveness of catechines inside the tea will fight with the bacteria and take the odor out. Catechine is also known for preventing from oxidization, fighting with the cholesterol, high blood pressure and fat. The graph shows the deodorant effect to ammonia by different antibacterial products. As it shows the regular tea works more effectively than konacha (flake tea). However, konacha works effective enough and they are reasonable in price. The catechine contained in konacha can be released in the hot water. Moreover, when ethanol is used, chlorophill is also released besids catechine. The antibacterial and deodorant products using effect of tea is made by soaking tea extract. The quality of konacha is easily damaged by ultra violet rays or heat. It is important to correctly store them. Therefore, the product that catechines cannot be destroyed easily is now under studied.
