Yvette is a Tea Practitioner and the creative brain behind yv et té, a Dubai-based online boutique artisan tea specializing in carefully curated premium loose-leaf teas and Matcha (Coming Soon). Her journey started several years ago, constantly visiting & working with small family-owned Tea Farms from Japan, Taiwan, and China; and collaborating with ceramic design artists.

Tea, for Yvette, has always been a passion that’s intertwined with her love for food, travel, authentic experiences, and an eco-friendly lifestyle. She is committed to elevating tea appreciation for pure, unaltered, sugar-free, quality teas. To date, she has hosted about 95 private Tea Tasting sessions and ongoing event workshops in UAE.

As a wellness enthusiast for holistic living, from Chinese cupping, Tai Chi, Yoga to being a Kombucha Mixologist, she’s a certified Tea Sommelier & Tea Blender and a Global Volunteer at Wuyi Star in China. Yvette is also an active Tea Recipe developer creating tea-infused food & beverage recipes, available in her blog Vita da Té (Life of Tea), adhering to minimal waste & reuse of tea. Yvette is also a huge advocate of animal welfare and a cat rescue volunteer.

She’s a Special Member of the World Green Tea Association (1st in UAE) and an alumna of the University California, Davis, USA (BSc) and London School of Economics, UK (MSc). You can follow her journey on Instagram @yvetteteas.
