Is there anything we can say that has no harmful effects in our lives? Welcome to the world of tea. Throughout the world, tea has had only benefits, to our health, and to the exchange of cultures and ideas. I was raised in a Chinese family, where my grandmother loved tea. Growing up, we had afternoon tea, much like the British afternoon tea, but Chinese style. Grandma would serve us tea, along with dried fruits, dim sum (small Chinese meat dumplings), and sweets. This was a time to enjoy the rich tea, but also was an important time to exchange information- for the elderly to teach the younger generation about the culture, and to listen to the children's daily activities.
