Utilization of old tea

Once you open the tea package, it is very important to correctly store it in order to keep the tea fresh. However, if you haven't open the package, it can stay fresh fairy well. Especially if you keep them in the refrigerator, they can stay fresh for 6 months after the date of production. If you have some tea which has been opened and absorbed a moisture from the air, you can roast them and make "hojicha". Here is the easiest way to make homemade hojicha: 1. Place aluminum foil sheet on the electric skillet. 2. Set the temperature of the skillet to 110-120 degrees Celsius. 3. Put some tea on the skillet and stir them until tea leaves become golden brown. When those roasted tea "hojicha" gets too old, you can use them as a deodorizer and place it in the refrigerator or shoe box.
