The shape of tea farms

When we see the tea farms in Japan, they look very different from other vegetable or fruit farms. The height of tea tree is about the height of your waist, and bushy trees are kept in small size for easy maintaining and harvesting. Farmers trim and cut trees to keep them not too tall, but also after buds are harvested, they don't grow too fast anyway. Top of the trees are trimmed round, which make each tree look like a dorm or half circled. When those half circled shape trees are lined, they look almost like a Kamaboko (Half circled shaped fish cake), and some look like a jigsaw puzzle.
