The world tea consumption is increasing, and people have started to aware about the health. These background and economic conditions, tea exporting countries are increasing their consumptions in their own countries, and is predicted that world's green tea production will continue to increase. In addition, exports of Japanese tea are on the rise, and the export value of Japanese green tea in 2021 reached a record high of 20.4 billion yen.

At the World Green Tea Conference 2022, representatives of the tea industry in Europe and the U.S., which are the main export destinations of Japanese tea, will give presentations to let us know the latest trends in tea. At the session II, the panelists who actually sell Japanese tea at overseas will discuss what is happening and we explore the diverse potential of Japanese tea.
